This Chapter Changed Everything
Okay, I have to be honest with you.
I didn’t see it coming either.
Chapter Three completely rewrote the rules of this book. We’re talking the killer, the suspects, the mysterious motorbiker, and yes, even the murder weapon. Nothing is quite what I thought it would be when we started this journey together.
And honestly? That’s my absolute favorite part of bringing you along chapter by chapter and letting you in on these little secrets as they unfold in real time.
Here’s the thing: the original planned killer just wasn’t sitting right with me. Something felt off. So I did what any self-respecting cozy mystery author would do. I stepped back, poured myself something warm, and played out every possible scenario until the answer finally clicked into place.
And I think the new villain is perfect.

A Thursday Murder Club Reunion!
I have just cracked open Book Five in Richard Osman’s Thursday Murder Club series, and I am cautiously, excitedly optimistic. The first book is near the top of my list for favorite cozy reads! I’m not expecting it to live up to that standard, because not all of the sequels do, but if it’s anywhere in the ballpark, I think it’ll be a fun read.
I’m only just getting started, so no spoilers please! But if you’ve read it, I’d love to hear what you think!
Have you read the Thursday Murder Club series? If you haven’t, book one is the perfect place to start. It’s cozy mystery gold! (But skip the star-studded Netflix adaptation. It was just disappointing. 💀)
