The book I’m most excited to read this month

Hey Friends!

Have you ever gotten on a flight with nothing to do? Nothing to read? Nothing to watch?

About a month ago I went to Phenix with absolutely no media to consume (a mistake I hope you never make). So, like a weirdo, I people watched.

Mostly it was borring, that gal had a cute nose ring, that guy picked his nose. It got old, and gross, fast. But the guy across the isle had a paperback book. Bless him.

Bless him again because at one point he closed the book just enough for me to see the title: The House Across The Lake by Riley Sager.

I looked it up.

Casey Fletcher a Thirty-something has-been is exiled to her secluded family cabin to sober up. Drinking on her deck she notices someone struggling in the water, and ends up saving her famous, rich, and beautiful neighbor from a near-drowning. But when that same neighbor goes missing Casey takes matters, and her neighbor's sketchy husband, into her own hands.

I put it on hold and quickly pulled up the sample pages before the plane took off. They were great! I'm so excited to keep reading it and can't wait to see where the story goes. It will be ready for me to borrow in about a week. Yay!

What's on your to read list? I love recommendations.

xoxo – Lindsay
