Speaking of exciting things…
🌸 I Went to Japan!
It was a wild, last-minute idea turned into one of the most magical experiences of my life. I’m talking lantern-lit streets, the most incredible food, temples tucked between skyscrapers, and moments that genuinely took my breath away.
It was spontaneous. It was a little chaotic. It was absolutely worth it.
My favorite part was the Izu Peninsula. We hiked the seven waterfalls and soaked in the natural hot springs, visited ancient palaces and the evenings were just solitary and spooky enough that I might have to set a future book there.

I finally found a book series that has me completely hooked, and I need you all to know about it immediately.
The Antique Hunter’s Guide to Murder by C.L. Miller.
I tore through the first book and dove straight into the second, The Antique Hunter’s Death on the Red Sea, and I am deep in my feelings about this series. It is charming. It is witty. It is twisty in the most delightful ways. Basically, it is everything a cozy mystery lover’s heart desires.
