The Scene I’ve Been Dying to Write (+ A Song Clue!) 🎵

Hey there!

Happy Wednesday! I'm writing to you from my writing cave with some exciting news about the work in progress—you know, that little idea that was barely a twinkle in my brain just a short while ago?

CHAPTER TWO IS OFFICIALLY HAPPENING, PEOPLE.

And not just happening—it's really happening. Remember when I teased that the love story in this book was inspired by a popular song? Well, buckle up, because I just wrote THAT scene. The one that started it all. The scene that played out in my imagination like a movie the first time I heard those lyrics.

Now, I know absolutely no one has guessed the song correctly yet (which is totally fair—you basically had nothing to go on 😂). BUT. After listening to this scene your odds of figuring it out skyrocket to somewhere in the "actually possible" range.

So here's your challenge: Take another crack at guessing! What song do you think inspired this love story? Drop your theories in the replies or hit reply to this email. What Else Is Keeping Me Busy

Writing never ends around here, and honestly? I wouldn't have it any other way. Here's what's on my plate:

• Groomed for Death – Currently in edits, and oh my goodness, this one is SO fun. I cannot wait for you to read it.

A Quick Netflix PSA

Last night we dove into the Netflix miniseries His and Hers, and… yeah. It's going to be too dark for me. I basically couldn't sleep, just lying there thinking about it. So if you're Team Cozy like me, maybe skip this one. Consider this your friendly warning! ☕
